The Next Generation Infrastructure Institute (NFI) has been examining how Japan should utilize health and medical data. As part of this, in 2024 we launched "Health Data Advocacy Activities," and in January 2025, together with initiators who agreed with the purpose, we organized the "Study Group for the Realization of a Next-Generation Infrastructure for Health Data." After extensive discussions, we have compiled a proposal. We have now decided to publish the proposal, incorporating the advice of experts in this field, as "Proposals for the Realization of a Next-Generation Infrastructure for Health Data."
